A River In Egypt

This column may seem a bit tardy in the coming, I assure you it is not.
Hunter S. Thompson was found dead this past Sunday from an apparent suicide.
(I know his lawyer has stated that it's not a fishy deal & the whole thing was well-planned but I still have my theories and Courtney Love better watch her ass) Upon hearing the news I opted not to mourn but rather to pretend the whole thing had never happened.
It didn't work.
He's still dead. And though I've tried to raise denial to a full-contact, blood-sweating sport pitting my wishes against reality... nothing's bringing him back. And reality has won again.
